Define Calculation Methods

Distributed Calculation Methods, such as Supervisory, dB Loss, Strobe, etc. are defined within AlarmCAD for AutoCAD, and are shown in red (left image). Users can add new calculation methods by accessing the Parts Database menu/Define Calculation Method submenu. The Define Calculation Methods dialog appears on the left. Enter new methods by clicking the Add Method button, which allows users to enter information in the next available row. User-added methods display in green, as in the left image.

Filter the list by User-Defined Methods Only by placing a checkmark in the corresponding option box at the top left of the dialog.

Delete user-defined methods in the list by hitting the Delete Selected Methods box.

Please Note:  Distributed Calculation Methods may not be deleted from the list.

When finished with modifications, simply press the Close button, as the Save button is disabled in this dialog.
