Select with Filter opens the Select Elements dialog listing elements to be selected, added to or removed from the current selection.
To use this selection method, open the Select menu and click Select with Filter. From the Not Selected window, choose the items you wish to ready for the action to follow; holding down the [Ctrl] key allows more than one element to highlight before pressing the Add button to move the chosen items to the Selected column. If needed, click Set Filter to refine property qualifications of elements to be selected. When all desired elements are listed under Selected, click the Select button.
Clicking the Add button moves the chosen item(s) to the Selected window.
Add All moves all items listed under Not Selected to the Selected column.
Remove returns chosen items from the Selected column to the Not Selected window.
Remove All clears the Selected column entirely, returning the complete list to the Not Selected window.
The Set Filter button open the Edit Filter tab where detailed characteristics of the element types can be specified.
Choose at item in the Selected window and click the Clear Filter button to eliminate any additional specified requirements for selection.
Clear All Filters eliminates any additional requirements specified for all elements in the Selected column.
