To find an appliance by its Address or Unique ID, access the Select menu/By Address or Unique ID submenu.
Specify any portion of the appliance's address by its Panel, Panel/Card, Panel/Card/Circuit, or Panel/Card/Circuit/Address.
After accessing this select function, the Find an Appliance dialog box appears:
First, the Source field will contain a drop-down menu that will narrow down the Panels to search from. If the Panel search is not quite enough to find the appliance, further define the search by its Card in addition to the Panel.
If needed, after selecting a Card from the drop down menu, identify the Circuit where the appliance may be located by opening its corresponding drop-down menu. Last, if needed, the Address field of the appliance may contain a drop down menu to choose from.
Finally, to view the appliance up close, click Exit and Zoom to Selection, and the appliance will be highlighted blue and zoomed into view. If only the OK button is pressed, the appliance will remain highlighted blue in the drawing, but not zoomed into view.
If Deselect all button is pressed, the search is canceled, then no appliance in the drawing will be highlighted. After pressing Deselect all, click Exit and zoom to selection, OK, or Cancel, and start the search over again if desired.
Please Note: This search function differs from the Select by ID in that it begins as a broader search, then it allows the narrowing of appliance choices one category at a time by Source, Card, Circuit, then Address.
