Conduit can be added to wire paths via the Add
Conduit button located in the wire path Properties Page. Like
other appliances, the Conduit Properties Page contains category, manufacturer
and description data. Notice
how the category selection auto-populates the remaining drop-down menus.
Conduit
added to the Parts Database will appear as choices in the drop-down menus
as well.
Automatically Size option is turned on by default, which will base the conduit size on the cables passing through it.
The Costs dialog box at the bottom allows users to insert base and labor costs for the conduit. In the example, the steel conduit's base cost is $.98.
Users can add customized conduit, conduit fittings, and conduit hangers to the Parts Database. Get Database Values button allows access to the user's assigned costs from the Parts Database.
Please Note: When the Automatically Size option is disabled, a size has to be selected from the drop-down menu that appears on the left.
Click the Cut Sheet button to open an Adobe Reader .pdf file with the manufacturer's spec sheet. When finished with modifications, click the OK button to save changes and exit the dialog.
