Junction Box

The Junction Box tool can be placed anywhere along a wire path, as in the image to the left. AlarmCAD for AutoCAD's tool works hand-in-hand with the command, Place Junction Boxes at Wirepath Intersections.

For certain manufacturers, the Junction Box's Part Number, Type, Description, Category, and Size may be available from the drop-down menus.

While the Junction Box alone contains no electrical components, it will hold multiple wire paths together at one intersection.

By default, a Standard, Universal Mount Junction Box is placed when the tool is accessed from the Parts Tree or from the Tools menu.
