When adding a new or modifying
an existing Auxiliary Panel, modify its Item
Data, Panel
Sizes, Panel Card List, and
Required Circuits
Tabs as needed. For
more information on each of these tabs, click on a link above.
An Auxiliary Panel's Item Panel/Auxiliary Panel tab is customized for the device, and is shown at the left. Adjust its minimum required number of cards in the corresponding field. Its Symbol Name can be changed as well by accessing the drop-down menu. In some instances where the symbol does not contain any text, the Symbol Label field is modifiable (in the image at left, FAAP is the already-assigned label for the Panel2 Symbol Name).
User can add cards option is automatically enabled so additional cards can be added outside of the Parts Database interface. Battery Backup in Main Panel option refers to Auxiliary Panels only, and is turned on by default.
The Compatible
Panel Cards list dialog is housed in the Item Panel/Aux Panel tab.
Please
note that if no Panel Cards are listed, then all are considered compatible
with the Auxiliary Panel. To
add compatible cards to the list, hit the Edit...
button to open the Appliance/Card Compatibility
dialog, located at left. Press the Add
Member...button to add a compatible card, Change
Member...to change one card to another, and Remove
Members to remove any existing cards in the list.
Please Note: All
changes made within this dialog are effective immediately and cannot be
undone, unless the item is being edited in another part of the database
interface.
