Design Standards: Appliance Labeling Page

The Appliance Labeling tab allows users to assign an appliance label's font, style, and data to display.

Label Styles for Addressable and Non-addressable devices and Addressable and Non-addressable NAC devices can be defined in the Appliance Labeling tab. For an example of how these styles differ, please refer to the images at the bottom. Additional label data representing the device's Network ID, Panel, Panel Card, Controller, Circuit, and Unique ID can also display in the drawing. The image on the left represents the default settings, but can be adjusted as necessary.

Clicking the Label Font box will allow users to make font adjustments as needed, just a word processing program does.

The Symbol Scale controls how large the device's symbol will appear in the drawing. Adjust the scale as desired before inserting devices into the drawing. By default, it is set at 1.5, which appears slightly larger than the label's text, but is adjustable.

Please Note: Settings in the Appliance Labeling tab will be applied to all appliance-based Default Properties Pages (Appliance Page).

Data to Display

Users can choose from several label data options to display in the drawing, such as Network ID, Panel, Panel Card, Controller (for an Auxiliary Panel), Circuit (or Channel Branch, if applicable), and Unique Identifier.

The images below illustrate examples of Label Style 1 (left) and Label Style 2 (right):
