Source device circuits are allowed to have 'Unassigned' circuit types. If, at a later point in the drawing, users would like to assign, or cast circuit types and subtypes, a set of options will be available.
The Circuit Casting Options dialog is accessible for applicable circuits whose types and subtypes were previously unassigned.
Users can opt to leave the
circuit subtype as Uncast, or
cast another subtype for the selected circuit. In the image on the left,
the Circuit Type was previously cast as Notification, but its subtype
was previously unassigned. Through this dialog, users can cast the subtype
as Notification, Audio,
Visual, Audible,
or Relay.
