The Panel's Name and Network ID display at the top right of the Properties page, and an alternative panel type is available, "PC." Please Note: When "PC" Panel is selected, only Additional Battery Loads are available. The Battery Calculations option box will be disabled. Battery CalculationsThe Battery Calculations and Additional Battery Loads buttons located below the Panel Name/ID allow users to adjust battery parameters to view battery set calculations. When placed in the drawing, a standard door Control Panel appears, but its properties can be edited by double-clicking the symbol in the drawing. A manufacturer-specific Fire Control Panel can also be placed directly into the drawing by dragging it from the Parts Database, located within the Parts Tree. The Battery Calculations reporting tool compiles parts information and computes current requirements for a given panel before equipping the cursor to place the data, in chart form, into the drawing. Depending on the part chosen, it may or may not have an additional Type, Description, or Card Capacity to further describe it. Customize the Symbol Label in the drawing if the part's description is not available from the drop down menus. Click the Cut Sheet button to open an Adobe .pdf file with the manufacturer's specs. The Detail Sheet button will direct users to the manufacturer's website, intranet, etc. and display the installation Detail sheet drawing, if it is available for the part. Cards in this Device
To include additional Cards, click Add Card, and to view the properties of a selected Card, click Properties/Circuit. Naturally, Delete removes a selected module from the list. Access an individual Card's Properties page by highlighting the card's row and clicking the Properties/ Circuits button, or simply double-clicking on the card's row. Column Headers separate each Card's Name, Part Number/Description, Circuit Count and Battery Set.
Other Default Properties PagesIn the Appliance Material Tab (formerly the Trim Tab), incorporate additional materials that can be picked up during Stock Listing and other reports. The Appliance Tab presents Circuits Required by the Device, Label Information, and Existing Appliance data. Refine the on-screen appearance, location, rotation, and scale of the device in the Symbol Tab. The Costs Tab allows users to input device costs to be picked up during Stock Listing. Associated costs include Base Cost, Shop Labor, Field Labor, Design Labor, Inspection Labor and Programming Labor costs. The Element Tab displays the device's Unique ID number and lists other adjoining elements. On the General Tab, change an element's color, layer, line properties, and rendering characteristics.
